I get it. I experimented with tons of different methods to stop snoring before I found the one that I like the best.
Fortunately, you can learn from my mistakes and just start with an effective device.
Let’s get into the details.
What Causes Snoring?
There are actually a few different conditions that can sometimes be mistaken for snoring, but generally speaking, snoring is caused when your upper airway becomes partially or completely blocked while you sleep.
This can cut off the flow of oxygen to our bodies. The snoring sound is our unconscious body gasping for air.
You see, as we drift off to sleep, our muscles relax. This includes the muscles in our jaw, tongue, mouth, and neck.
We sometimes unconsciously pull our tongues back into our mouths while we sleep, which blocks the airway and causes snoring.
In some cases, it can help to modify our lifestyles. The good news is that these methods are totally free. Losing weight and avoiding alcohol are the two most common lifestyle changes that we can make to reduce our snoring.
Personally, I found that losing weight helped me a little bit, but it didn’t cause my snoring to stop.
If you want a more effective solution, it’s time to get an anti-snoring device.
What Are Anti-Snoring Devices?
Anti-snoring devices are any product that you wear at night, which help to prevent your facial muscles from relaxing and obstructing your airway.
These devices come in different shapes, and there are several different ways in which they work.
First up are the nosepieces and chin/jaw straps. Nosepieces are designed to improve the quality of air that flows into your airway, but they don’t really address the cause of snoring at all.
Chin straps and jaw straps are designed to hold your jaw in place while you sleep, to prevent it from relaxing and blocking your windpipe while you sleep.
In my experience, nosepieces and chin/jaw straps are terrible, and I don’t recommend them. They are typically just cheap junk that do virtually nothing to solve your problem.
If you want to stop snoring, you really need to get an anti-snoring mouthpiece.
There are two main kinds of anti-snoring mouthpieces: Jaw advancement mouthpieces and tongue displacement mouthpieces.
Jaw advancement mouthpieces keep your jaw out of the way of your airway while you sleep. Some of them are quite good.
But the biggest downside is that they take a while to get used to, and they can make your mouth sore and cause your jaw to ache.
A tongue displacement mouthpiece works a little differently. It holds your tongue in place to keep it from retracting into your mouth and causing you to snore.
I like this method the best. It’s easy to use, it doesn’t cause your mouth to hurt, and best of all it actually works.
So which anti-snoring device on the market is the best?

But to cut to the chase, I think Good Morning Snore Solution is the best anti-snoring device currently on the market. You can click here to find out where to buy Good Morning Snore Solution.
It’s a tongue displacement mouthpiece – the only one of its kind that’s currently available.
It stops your snoring, allowing you (and your partner) to get a good night’s sleep. It’s very easy to use, and doesn’t cause any pain like some other anti-snoring mouthpieces do.
Best of all, it lasts longer than other mouthpieces. Most other brands will need to be replaced within six months or less, but Good Morning Snore Solution can last up to a year, or even longer if you maintain it well.
But how does Good Morning Snore Solution work? I mean, how does one mouthpiece do all of this?
I wondered the same thing.
How Does Good Morning Snore Solution Work?
When you get into bed, just pop the mouthpiece into your mouth. It rests up against your gums, and it has a place where you can put your tongue. Just draw the air out of the tip, then put your tongue in the mouthpiece.
This creates a vacuum seal which will hold your tongue in place while you sleep. The suction pressure from the mouthpiece ensures that your tongue can’t retract into your mouth and block your windpipe.
Hence, no snoring!
This method is incredibly effective, and yet so simple. I wonder why it took so long for someone to figure this out.
When you wake up in the morning, just remove the mouthpiece and place it in a glass of cold water. You can clean it with any denture cleaning solution that you can buy at your local pharmacy or big-box store.
My Good Morning Snore Solution mouthpiece typically lasts me about 10 to 12 months, but I’m not the best about maintaining it. If you keep it well cleaned, you can probably get a year out of it.
